Paris nous voilà!

Finally... I'm going to Paris! I will be staying very close to Sacre-Coeur in the 18th Arrondissement, which I think can be a good thing. I've memorized streets, so I can't get lost basically. The plan is not too detailed - though it contains all the places tourists should go to. My dad is a Paris-geek, so he was cute enough to give me a very long list. He also mentioned that the Louvre might take some while; Muse D'Orsay should be interesting; And that I should keep in mind that he once had a movie on display at Centre Pompidou.

I'm very excited to see the catacombs as well, as they have intrigued me since I was a kid. I'm re-reading Notre-Dame De Paris (Victor Hugo) for the occation. He dissects paris in such a way that you cant help but follow his interest.

Other details like macrons (I need to eat macrons in paris.. easy as that), and maybe a crepe if i can find my hunger sometime walking down Chapms-Elysees, are what my itinerary focus on. Main thought is to relax and be a parisian for a week.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

It's fair to say I stayed up the whole night to watch E3, just to wait for news about Uncharted. It was so worth it. God damnit. Drake looks so old! He looks so fucking real! And he's still wearing his wedding ring!!! So many pores and wrinkles and fuck. Naughty Dog has really done their amazing job on the graphics again. I'm literally mindblown. It's just insane. It's been years since Drake's Deception and I have waited so long for this. "One last time". Goosebumps all over me. I'll be excited every day until 2015! Fuuuuck.

I've been gaming Watch Dogs ever since I bought a PS4, and I am very suprised by the fact that Naughty Dog did their graphic work better for the PS3 game Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. I know graphics isn't everything. But it tells hell of a lot about how much more evolved the Naughty Dog studios are compared to most others.

The minutes after I got to see the trailer, I went to sleep knowing I had just a fixed amount untill I had to get up again. I slept like a baby, dreaming about the new Uncharted game. I have so many theories!

three times love

I am currently rewatching the Coen Brother's Inside Llewyn Davis and saw Martin Scorcese's The Wolf of Wall Street first time yesterday. Everything good is three, therefore I figured adding a lovable scene (Nick Cave performance) from Andrew Dominik's The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford aswell. All three very different movies, and all three of them topping the list of my all-time favorites. Worth a watch! Oh, I should probably mention the outstanding cinematographic work by Roger Deakins in "Jesse James". Along side with it's sountrack and of course Coen's sountracks are always a true pleasure.

short and unruly

(Hoover for another photo)

as always i fail to keep the blog updated. i cut my hair some time back. havent had it this short since i was 16 and before that since i was 6. so its a pleasant change. i fell out of my drawing spree as soon as it started, so now i will have to force myself into it again. i need someone interesting to draw, or something. within my grasp - im very rusty! i thought about doing a portait of helcule poirot.. or maybe finish up the black & white themed john locke i began over a year ago... right, that was a bunch of gibberish, let me just finish the update.

im about to watch poirot. i know its "old-auntie" like to do, but i honestly like it! and netflix is my new best friend. i recently rewatched the short series, Dinotopia! an old fav of mine (its horrible, dont bother to take a look). secretly though, i kinda hate netflix, so to make up for it i had a short cinema marathon on saturday doing two films in a row. maleficent first(i like it alot, it is very inspirational!) and x-men days of future past (have to admit i liked it a lot too, cant be compared of course, but i seriously hope that it is the last(!)

and whoop for 6mm septum! (managed to bump my hand up in my nose accidentally just some minutes ago.. and it made me spill tears lol)

hm whats that? oh, its poirot calling! Goodnight you ♥
